ble_conn_params_init() throws NRF_ERROR_INTERNAL for some boards

So, we are using NRF52811 with external 32MHz xtal and also exeternal RTC crystal. 

Every now and then we are unable to pass tests of the programmed firmware because the ble_conn_params_init() throws the NRF_ERROR_INTERNAL error - usually (not always) rebaking the boards fixes the issue but we were not able to pinpoint the HW issue so far here. 

Can you make an educated guess where to look or how what to measure on scope (?) to possibly figure out why we possibly have relatively high number of boards suffering from this issue?

Hi,

ble_conn_params_init() throws the NRF_ERROR_INTERNAL

 Looking at the code, you can get this error in ble_conn_params_init() if app_timer_create() returns something else than NRF_SUCCESS. You should debug the code, and/or add some extra printing, and see if this is the case or not by checking the error-code that is actually returned from app_timer_create().
