Simulating the SoftDevice

Hello,

I do want to simulate the behaviour of several nrf51 chipsets that communicate over the air. Do you have any suggestion, how to start with this? The best would be of course, to have a dll that simulates the softdevice and calls some functions with the packets that are sent over the air. I do think, however, that this does not exist and I am looking for an appropriate solution.

We have dll for S110 and S120 available at a 0.3 alpha stage: www.nordicsemi.com/.../84389881

You could potentially use these to control several nRF51 and see how they behave.

thanks. But I do need to simulate a few more than the Softdevices I can currently buy :-) I was looking for a simulation that outputs the radio signals on the other end.

I don't think I understand you line of thought. You want to have control over both sides of the link and simulate with actual radio traffic? The dlls mentioned above is the only dlls we have available. There's dll for both the peripheral and central stack, so you should be able to set it up as a link.
