nRF8001 DTM TX Power always 0dBm ?

Dear community,

We are testing a nRf8001 Implementation, DTM  transmitter Test with continuous unmodulated carrier.

In the PS 1.3 / 22.5 i saw that the dynamic data is lost when entering Test mode.

The Test results are unexpected, we have no explanation for this. Does the DTM use the TX Power settings from the configuration / nvm or does the Test mode always send with 0dBm ?

Hi,

Unfortunately it's not possible to change the TX output power for the DTM test on the nRF8001.

If you are planning to make a new product I would recommend you look at a newer chip. e.g. the nRF52 series.

does this mean that nRF8001 on DTM Mode always sends with 0dbm or does he use the settings from configuration / nvm ?

It always transfer with 0dBm.
