nrf24l01+ with PA and LNA module issue

Hello,

I am using these pre certified modules https://www.nicerf.com/product_147_88.html in a project which is basically nrf24l01+ with a PA and LNA.

These support +20 dBm output power. Most of these modules work fine with the max power but some have issues transmitting at highest power, though they work on lower power. Can anyone please shed some light on why this could be happening?

What's the range between the nRF24L01+ devices?

If they're located fairly close to each other (< 1 meter), then you're likely saturating the receiver. Try placing them further apart.

The receiver is placed ~20 feet away from the transmitter, so I don't think the receiver is getting saturated.

There only cause is faulty modules. There's no reason for this to happen at high output power if the module is ok. So check with the module manufacturer.
