How do you read characteristic data during device discovery using the discovery manager library?

I am using the discovery manager to do device discovery on any device that connects to my central. I there a way to read the data in the characteristic during this discovery? For example get the name from the device name characteristic?

I do not think you can do that before the discovery is finished. You cannot start any procedure while one is ongoing.
