nRF5340 PDK Not Broadcasting after Hello World

Question

We have run the Hello World program on the nRF5340-PDK, but now following the basic steps to program the heart rate example, there is no BT broadcast for Zephyr Heartrate Sensor after flashing the two hex files and performing the erases/reset in proper order. In fact, I can't find it broadcasting at all. Maybe we should have done this example first, but my understanding is there should be nothing precluding us from reflashing a new project using nrfjprog, so why doesn't this example work? It seems rather straight forward. 
 It also appears none of the nRF Connect apps will recognize the nRF5340 device family, so that's not a good route of debugging, or just confirming the device is working properly. I assume we must rely solely on Segger Studio? Thanks,

Ok appears the download is bunk from " Running a first test ", I used the files contained here: https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/f/nordic-q-a/57931/nrf5340-pdk-not-advertising 
 Also note, there appears to be an en-dash instead of a hyphen in the sample code in that first link, line 4b, which will toss an error using nrfjprog. This worked right away and broadcasts Zephyr Heartrate Sensor:
