Pins for switching antennas

Hi 

I am trying to use an antenna switching board for AoA direction finding. I know that the RADIO controls 8 PSEL.DFEGPIO pins to control switching antenna.

1. Could I use a SP8T switch and use three of the PSEL.DFEGPIO pins to switch between all the eight antennas?

2. What would the switchpattern look like?

Hi,

 

1. Most likely, you just have to verify that the switch is fast enough and does not have different delay through the 8 different ports. A different delay can however probably be mitigated by adjusting the trace lengths.

2) This probably depends on the angle calculation algorithm you are using.
