cannot detect nrf52

Hi Nordic Pros, 

I have a nrf52840 board, and I tried to connect it to my pc. It dosen't show up as "JLink" or "BOOTLOADER". 

Inside Segger Embedded Studio, I tried to connect to J-Link target, it gave me "no emulators connected via USB". I tried "nrfjprog --ids", nothing would show up. I was wondering how should I configure the board so that I could program to it?

I tried to plug or unplug it, the device show up in "device manager" under USB Serial Device (COM5).
