Using the nRF52840 on a Mesh.

Hi,

I am trying to evaluate the nRF52840 development boards and configure as a simple switch and light node.

The first issue I have had is that on a Huawei phone the nRF Mesh APP is very unreliable. I have gone back to an old Samsung phone and making more progress as I can now get a Mesh set up but can't get one node to act as a switch and the other as the light.

I have followed the Youtube video for setting up the Mesh, but it appears different on my phone. Not sure if the differences are the fact the video is with an Iphone and I am using Andriod.

Any help would be great.

  • Hi,

What do you mean by this? Why can't you configure them to be a light switch and light bulb? Which examples are you using? Can you give me more details about the steps you are doing?

Which Mesh SDK version are you using?

I have followed the Youtube video for setting up the Mesh,

Can you post the link to that video? You should be able to provision with both iPhone and Android phones, it shouldn't make any difference.
