RTOS current status in 2020

Hi,

we would like to use a production ready open source RTOS with our nrf52840 development under Linux (with eclipse or visual studio code).

We have tried with mbed 5.11 BLE stack which worked fine, but this is not supported any more.
MBed now uses cordio for BLE which causes a lot of trouble, details here:

Interesting is that Nordics Softdevice is criticised there.

I have found this nordic post about RTOS recommendations, but it is 4 years out dated:

Nice would be to have easy debugging support from our Linux PCs and valrgind integration to do proper C++ testing.

Any feedback what works fine in your project is welcome.

@Nordic: What are your current recommendations - where are you actively participating?
