Adding custom cards in nrf Cloud to store sent data

Hi!

For a personal project, I am sending different sensor values to the nrf Cloud in JSON format which are visible on the terminal, but I want them to be stored as the asset tracker application stores different data fields on different cards as seen in the following figure:

How is this possible?

Thank you.

  • Hello,

    How is this possible?

I can not give you this information at the moment, but it will be made public in the future. What I can tell you right now is that the cards on which the data is displayed need the payload to follow a certain format, you can not customize this in any way. Also, the supported application Ids are limited as well, and can not be customized either. All messages not understood by nrfCloud are silently ignored.

I hope this answers your question.

  • Hello,

Hakon, you mention that this will be made public in the future and it looks like about a year has passed since this was originally posted so I was curious if there were any updates regarding this.

I am similarly trying to add a data block, card, or widget etc. into the nrf cloud to display battery % levels that I am sending back from my custom board formated as JSON.
