A while ago I started developing on the nRF9160DK but I found an issue that I do not know how to solve by myself.
I used two SIM cards: the one from iBasis and my personal phone SIM card, while using asset_tracker sample.
-> According to iBasis themselves, LTE-M coverage should be nationwide where I am developing (Madrid, Spain), but I can get no connection to an LTE network. I assume it is actually connected to a network (as using AT+COPS? replies with the info about the network it is theoretically connected to, and the network name on the right is marked in yellow, but no status is shown), but does not show any signal strength and LTE sign stays red.
->Using my own SIM from Telefonica, which is supposed to have nation-wide NB-IoT connectivity, still does not connect to LTE-M (same as iBasis, shows info with +COPS, network in yellow but no status, LTE red) but setting NB-IoT with %XSYSTEMMODE makes +COPS return 0 (do I need an NB-IoT specific SIM card by any chance, although I assume I should not?).
Needless to say, I cannot progress without a succesful connection to the network.
PD.: iBasis SIM card has been registered successfully and I already set my own card PIN for de second scenario.
