I'm checking the e-sim functionnality with at_client firmware and LTE LInk Monitor. Once connectivity is proven to be successful, I can pursue my testings.
I was in France last week, and I ran LTE Link Monitor and found it work perfectly, in less than 30 seconds (LTE is green, after flashing red/yellow for 10 seconds)
But with the covid-19 spreading in Europe, and borders closing, I decided to go back to Hong Kong. When trying with the same sim card, LTE and PDN do not go the green:
LTE stays flashing red/yellow, and PDN stays Red.
So I defined the APN, as it was found automatically in France: AT+CGDCONT=0, "IP", "xxxxxxxxxxx"
This enabled the PDN to Green
But LTE is still blinking Yellow/Red. The sim provider told me Hong Kong doesn't have yet NB-IoT ready to share with others, on their networks
Is there a way to fallback on 3G (which is available) when neither NB-IoT nor LTE are available?
