Hi, i want to connect nRF52 Thingy with nRF6707 power profile kit to measure the current acquire by thingy.
How to connect the thingy to power profile kit
And also i have one more external device with battery . i want to calculate the how much current taken by the device from that battery
battery volt (2.8 V - 4.2V)
Device operating volt (3V)
currently i got another issue. the power profile nrf6707 hardware LED2 not get ON.
How to i check the hardware is working or not
Connect the PPK as per the user guide. Then start the software from nRF Connect, and see that the firmware is verified. If it is not, you will be prompted to update the board with the latest firmware.
Also, make sure the switch controlling the power source is in the correct position as per your setup.
Yes, I have done as per user guide. and in nrf connect, power profiler have latest version 2.3.1.
By default while power on the DK. if PPK connected with DK. then LED2 of PPK should ON
in my case that is false it's not getting ON
Go it. Hardware not boot properly. now the PPK is working fine. do you now
You should be able to measure the current consumption of the Thingy by using the Thingy as an external DUT. You will need an NRF52 DK as a debugger to communicate with the power profiler app on nRFConnect.
Please check out section 6.5 in the PPK user guide.
