thingy:91 A request for the USB device descriptor failed.

I've noticed that Thingy:91 USB code has some issues related to proper handling attach/detach events resulting in incorrect response to usb host requests. Windows device manager states that "A request for the USB device descriptor failed."

It happened several times already and the only solution is to power off/on device.

Device is updated with thingy91_ltem_dfu_2019-11-29_d3130d77.hex
AT%HWVERSION: E244

  • I use Windows 10 latest patch level, however I don't think it related to host OS. If device is rebooted, windows will recognize it.

Versions I got when connected device to nRF cloud:

    Modem Firmware mfw_nrf9160_1.1.1

    Board nrf9160_pca20035

    App Version v1.1.0

I didn't flash bridge, coz I'm not sure if I can do it with nRF Connect Desktop programmer. Is it just change the switch and use SW4 btn?
