nRF9160 Environment error.

I set up the environment for the nRF9160  as it was specified and downloaded the git-hub code https://github.com/NordicPlayground/fw-nrfconnect-nrf (environment 1) and I tested the gps code and it worked fine. When I tried to run the Hello-world and CoAP code https://github.com/ExploratoryEngineering/nrf9160-telenor/tree/master/samples it didn't work until I created a new environment just for it. So now I have 2 environments. I am trying to merge them. But i get errors even tho I copied all the libs and and checked the checklists. 

To summarize I want to know the dependencies that i need to change for adding new codes to make it work.

I get an error         fatal error: modem/lte_lc.h: No such file or directory  #include <modem/lte_lc.h> when i try to run the hello world in the environment (1). I added he lte lib but when I try to add it in the kconfig file  (rsource "lte_link_control/Kconfig") It fails right away without even trying to build. what is the steps for adding a lib.

I don't think you want to 'merge' your two environments. When you 'west build' you will create a build dir for each project. To add an existing library to your project, you need to add the necessary value to your prj.conf file. For lte_lc.h, add CONFIG_LTE_LINK_CONTROL=y

So, I am trying to run CoAP to send gps coordinates Telenor server. That's why i want to have 1 environment any ideas.

You should run ncs/nrf with the versions the repository supports, which seems to be v1.2.0 (with minor adjustments) and v1.1.0:

The changes you've done to the kconfig (and other outside sources) should be reverted.

 

PS: try #include <lte_lc.h> to include the header.

#include <lte_lc.h> is already added in the header file. CoAP woks on location (x) and gps works on location (y). When I try to move either of them to the other environment i get error even tho I added the libs is there a dependency I am missing.

I recommend reading these blog posts before trying to combine projects. In the kconfig area, you should focus on the differences in prj.conf, and try to combine these into one. When that is done, start looking at the actual handling in source code. If you intend to run the GPS in PSM mode, have a look at this library, which is a part of asset_tracker: https://github.com/NordicPlayground/fw-nrfconnect-nrf/tree/master/applications/asset_tracker/src/gps_controller

I figured out my problem it was the binary files I was using v1.0.0 so I had to upgrade
