Free compiler

Question

Is Segger Embedded Studio a free compiler ? and can it be used commercially. If no then please suggest a me some free compiler for the development.

Hi, 
 Yes, Segger Embedded Studio is free for all development when the target chip is a Nordic Semiconductor product. Segger Embedded Studio is also the preferred IDE for the nRF5 SDK, although many IDE's and toolchains are supported.
