Hi, can I specify what PHY in nRF Connect for Android will be used for scan? Or can I filter scanned devices according to PHY?
Thank you.

Hi,
There is a setting in the nRF Connect app in Settings -> Scanner ->Compatibility mode (PHY) which will let you enable "legacy only" (no advertising extension, only 4.2 advertising) or disable it, which means it will scan for any PHY, including coded PHY if your phone supports it.
But most phones will only try to scan on PHY LE 1M as primary PHY.
Unfortunately there is no way to filter by PHY in the nRF Connect app at the moment. I will give feedback to the developers but I don't know if this will be possible to implement.
Best regards,
Marjeris
Thank you, for input, you answered my question. My phone should support all ble 5.0 features (all is checked green), so I think it scan also coded PHY, btw can I check it somehow?.
Hey Marjeris Romero,
Can you tell how support for CODED PHY looks in Desktop(Linux) nRF Connect 3.5.0? I have a dongle with nRF52840, so this should not be a problem.
