nRF5340 number of PWM channels

Hi everyone,

I am in the phase of evaluating different chips and need to know the number of PWM channels for the nRF5340 and can't really find this information. The product brief says something, the datasheet something else and so on. 

I currently use the nRF52832 which has 3x4 channels.

I know that the nRF52840 has 4x4 channels.

So, how many channels can I get from the nRF5340?

It's 4x4. The front-page on the OPS is wrong. We will fix that in a new version of OPS.

PS: On the Engineering A version of nRF5340 you only have 3 working instances of the PWM. This will be fixed in the next IC version of the nRF5340 , so that all 4 is working.

When will the next IC version be available?

Then it seems like the nrf5340 is pretty much better than the nrf52840 in every way except that it's more expensive?

 Yes. (with the Engineering A)

Later this year. Maybe Q3/Q4.

Yes, it's a superset of the most prominent nRF52 Series features. It also has 2 ARM-M33 processors!
