nRF52840 tx 8db power with pc-ble-driver

Hi,

I am currently developing a stationary BLE device. I am testing the nRF52840-dongle in combination with the pc-ble-driver. For that purpose, I am using the connectivity_4.1.1_usb_with_s132_5.1.0 firmware on the device. Does the firmware support the +8db tx power setting? Based on rudimentary range testing, it does not seem so. The Softdevice 132 also should only work up to +4db... Is there a connectivity firmware for nRF52840 with Softdevice 140 that is supported by the pc-ble-py driver?

Hi,

There is no production softdevice available of s140 with sd_api_v5. If you want to use the full feature set of s140, you need to use pc-ble-driver (the C/C++ version) directly, which supports s140 with sd_api_v6.
