Using QSPI of nrf5340 or nrf52840 for accessing NAND Flash

Our hardware has Winbond NAND Flash chip connected to the nordic MCU(nrf52840 /nrf5340). However QSPI cannot be used as nordicSDK doesn't support NAND Flash.

I understand from older threads that nordic supports only NOR flash addressing scheme and not NAND flash.

Is this still valid? Or are there any updates in the latest sdk releases

If it is still valid, Can nordic to provide support for accessing NAND Flash as well?

Sorry for the late reply. 

Our QSPI peripheral has some instructions that are hardcoded for NOR flash, therefore we cannot support NAND flash.
