Software already on new nrf82833 SoC?

Hi,

we bought a few 3rd party modules (https://www.raytac.com/product/ins.php?index_id=95)  with nRF52833 on it. Just with lipo battery on VDDH Pin, VDD has an voltage level of about 3V.

Normally, Regout0 should have 1,8V output by default (https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/pdf/nRF52833_PS_v1.2.pdf, p.43).

So my question: Can I assume that there is already a firmware on this SoC, because VDD is not as configured by default?

You need to contact Raytac for details of what software, if any, they program onto their modules - that is entirely down to Raytac, and nothing to do with Nordic!

Yes, you´re right, I sent an inquiry to raytac. But for my unterstanding, the SoC should normally offering a 1,8V voltage level, when connecting for example LiPo battery on VDDH. Is that correct?

Yes, unless they have been programmed to do otherwise.
