Unable to start Toolchain Manager from nRF Connect Desktop

I am evaluating if I should change to nRF Connect SDK for a new project so I have been updating nRF Connect to latest version v3.3.3 

I have installed Getting Started Assistant and also Toolchain Manager but I am unable to get into any of these applications.

I can press Open in nRF Connect, but no new window open on my desktop, I can see additional windows in the toolbar of windows but I am unable to get to them!

I find no way to get access to the Toolchain Manager window even though I can see that it is running. I can Alt-Tab between the windows, but get nothing on the screen!

What OS are you using?

Could you try to uninstall and install 3.3.1? Please let me know this can help or not. Thanks.

I have uninstalled nRF Connect and installed it again from your website. Version 3.3.1 was on the website but when starting it it updated to 3.3.3

Same problem, I see I can start Toolchaing Manager (visible in toolbar), but no window can be found.....

Hi Thomas, 

Could you try to uninstall nRF Connect, go into {user}\AppData\Roaming and removed everything that has *nrf*connect in the name, install 3.3.0 again? Please let me know this helps or not.

Two folders under AppData deleted.

I reinstalled again and answered yes to update to 3.3.3

This seems to have done the trick :-) thank you
