nRF51 hardware version in compatibility matrix

Hi, how to link nRF51 IC rev. (1, 2, 3) in NRF51 Series Compatibility matrix (https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/topic/comp_matrix_nrf51/COMP/nrf51/nRF51422_nRF51822_ic_rev_sdk_sd_comp_matrix.html) and hardware version marking (G0) on chip?

note: the marking on my chip is N51822 QFAAG0.

QFAAGx maps to revision 2, as per this list:

Note that if you order nRF51-devices, you will get revision 3. I would strongly recommend that you develop with the same IC revision as you plan to go into production with.

Hi, nRF51 the matrix indicates S110 SD 5.2.1 and I found only 7.3.0 or 8.0.0. Moreover no SDK version indicated.

How should work with this 'old' device?  thanks f.

Hi,

 

As mentioned, you will highly likely only receive revision 3 devices when ordering nRF51 devices, so it is therefore also recommended that you develop on the same revision as you're going into production with. You can download older SDKs from here: http://developer.nordicsemi.com/nRF5_SDK/

 

As per this matrix, SDKs v5 and v6 works with revision 2, but I recommend that you get a revision 3 device and use the latest available SDK for nRF51-series devices (v12.3).
