exit from debug mode (S110)

Hi,

I'm using the softdevice s110. The power consumption is sometimes a little weird (around 1 mA). I think that the chip is in debug mode. How can I know if the chip is really in this mode ? In this case, is it possible to disable this mode by using NRF_POWER->RESET?

Thanks

  • What are you using as your programmer/debug device? Is it connected to your device when you are seeing the ~1mA current draw?

The little J-Link Lite boards that ship with some of the developer kits draw power from the nRF51 VDD. That confused me at one point since the Segger "black box" style J-Link devices don't do that.
