Sending a .bin file using mobile to store in flash

Hi,

I'm looking for solutions to transfer .bin file and store the file in to the flash memory. 

Can i use DFU to send just .bin file and update the flash but i have change the boot loader i guess

Is there any way i can send large amount of data over ble?

the size of the data could be anywhere betwwen 500Bytes to 1KB

Im using nrf52840 and SD6.1
SDK: 15.2

Hi,

You can use the Bluetooth Object Transfer Service (or any other proprietary service for that matter, for instance, similar to the image transfer demo). The BIN file contains only binary data that you can send byte by byte over BLE and assemble in the same order on the other side. 500 bytes to 1 kB is not very large data, you could also use the Nordic UART Service for this.
