Hello,
The max TX power for nRF51822 is +4dBm and it corresponds to Bluetooth Class 2.
Is there a possibility to use an external amplifier to increase TX power to meet Class 1 requirements?
Best regards, Artem Z.

Bluetooth Low Energy is limited to up to +10 dBm of output power. So this will go into the class definition of Bluetooth class 1, but it's not possible according to spec to have more than +10 dBm out of a BLE device.
Asbjørn,
Thank you for your response. Could you explain please does nRF51822 support +10dBm output power?
You have to add a PA to the output of the nRF51822 in order to get +10 dBm out. By itself it can supply +4 dBm.
