Hi, My company is interested in doing bluetooth beacon location tracking of android devices for a VR project.
I notice we can easily purchase bluetooth 5 beacons on amazon or local websites, but I'm wondering whether bluetooth 5.1 is ready for use yet.
Basically, we wish to do an AR virtual museum tour hear in south korea, but without accurate location tracking, the placement of the virtual objects will be off. So ideally, using bluetooth 5.1 location tracking (Angle of arrival and angle of departure) would be much better for us. But I'm no RF engineer. I worked in FPGA work for a year or so, but I do software now.
Do you think it is feasible to buy a few boards and set up a bluetooth 5.1 system?
