GPS L1 C/A code phase, other GNSS?

Hello there. I have few questions about nrf9160 GNSS  part.
Seems NRF have implemented own GPS L1 C/A correlator, current quality is not impressive at this moment, but approach seems courageous if it's NRF built GNSS.

I just can guess that GNSS and 4G RF parts using same 2^N TCXO clock. GNSS systems usually relies on non 2^N clocks. Also I am quite interested if nrf9160 GNSS is software based or HW based. Does NRF company planning to improve current GNSS part. Add new GNSS systems like GLONASS, Galileo or BeiDou? Also I am quite interested if this device is capable to  give back partial results after FFT, like code phase, Doppler array and etc?
