ACI_BOND_STATUS_FAILED_ENCRYPTION_KEY_SIZE error

I get ACI_BOND_STATUS_FAILED_ENCRYPTION_KEY_SIZE error when I try to bond my nrf8001 peripheral to my iPhoneX. The min and max key sizes are set to 7 and 16.

Any Idea?

Hi,

Do you have a sniffer trace that shows the on air traffic when the failure occure?  Is this only an issue with iPhone x or also with older iPhones?

After selecting nRf8001 type C instead of D in nRfGo studio, the issue is gone. Thank you.
