I have a device with no OS on it that talks serial through a UART to a nRF53840. I need to be able to update the nRF53840's firmware across the serial link, but since I don't have an OS I can't use the normal tools such as NRFJPROG of NRFCONNECT. Can someone please point me toward a white paper or something the will get me started in the right direction?
