ble_app_uart combined with ble_app_hrs + LESC

Hi,

I'm trying to add LESC pairing mechanism to NUS.

Now when I'm doing pairing between nRF52DK and Phone(Android) via normal way, the behavior is what I want. Please see below:

After erasing boding data, I tried nRF UART app, the behavior is not what I want.

When I using nRF UART app, it just connected, not showing the numeric pair code above. Please see below:

I have no idea, anyone can helps?

Hello,

Have you increased the security level on your NUS characteristic(s) to make pairing mandatory? The characteristics are set with "SEC_OPEN" by default which makes pairing optional. Also, not related to the issue, but we recommend using the nRF UART app in nRF Toolbox as it is more up to date (it replaces nRF UART 2.0).

It works, I change the security level of NUS characteristic from SEC_OPEN to SEC_JUST_WORKS.

And the behavior is what I want. Thank you very much!!

As for nRF UART2.0, because we need source code to customize the app. we're not using nRF Toolbox.
