Hi,
The Segger software does not work behind a proxy server.
After installing and licensing it (by moving the machine outside our corporate firewall) we try to start it inside.
It just fails with a message box "No commercial-use license found".
If I click the link, Activate Your Free License, nothing happens (presumably it tries to connect directly to the Segger activation server on internet.)
If I click Continue it sometimes crashes with "An error occured" and sometimes works.
1. Are there any restrictions on developing in the "Non commercial" mode?
2.1. Are there any plans from Segger to fix this?
2.2 The license appears to be tied to the MAC-address, a great hassle since we use virtual machine for development, and they need to be moved around and started on whatever physical machine has the boards connected. Is there any way to handle this
3. Do you have any automation, plugins or instructions to setup freeware for easy development, i.e Eclipse or Visual Studio Code instead of Segger?
Best regards,
/Ola
