nRF Connect Desktop error when opening local app

Hello,

I am starting with app development for nRF Connect Desktop. I downloaded the Bluetooth Low Energy app from Nordic Github and put into .nrfconnect-apps\local. nRF Connect Desktop can find the local app, but when I open the app, this happens:

The official apps installed using nRF Connect Desktop runs fine, just local apps have this problem.

Hello, 

Can you provide some more details to how added the local app? I.e. did you follow the instructions given in the guide here and here?

Thank you for your help. I read the guide again and realized I have to build the app first
