Not scanning after writing the data without disconnection in NrfConnec

If I write the data from NrfConnect App and if I again go to the scanner tab without clicking on disconnect or killing the app and then if I click scan or refresh option, it is not scanning the device. It is able to scan the device only and only if I click on disconnect or kill the app. Why it is so ? I am using ble_app_uart example code.

Hi.

Could you add information on what OS and which version of nRF Connect that you are using?

If you don't disconnect from the device you won't be able to scan for it, unless you have modified the example to start advertising after connecting to a device. The ble_app_uart example will stop advertising when in a connection.
