The specification 52840 CPU Running current

Hi ,

I have question about the specification of CPU running current. We did measure the current by PPK to force the CPU always running but the result is quite different with spec.

At section 5.2.x.x , what is the current of the specification .

Is the current Idd which is related with Vdd? or the specification is the current consumption at DEC1 which is used for M4 core?

Yes, IF you have the DC/DC switching mode enabled.

I don't think you can measure current at DEC1 pin.

Yes, the current is measured at VDD, not DEC1. The voltage is 3V.

The current depends on what the CPU is doing. You can see several milliamps difference in consumption depending on the CPU tasks, RAM read/write, wait states, etc.  You need to run the CoreMark code to reproduce the numbers.
