Hi,
I use nRF51822 powered by CR2032 battery. Same decoupling as dev board PCA10001.
Would you recommend different values of decoupling capacitors for battery powered devices to extend life-time?
Thanks,
Mila

It depends on the peak current draw. With the nRF51 you should at least have an extra 10-100µF if not larger.
I do recommend that you use the nRF52810 with its DCDC converter as you will have a much lower peak current than the 51 series and is fairly comparable in price. You will get a lot longer battery lifetime and shorter time-to-market.
Thank you for quick reply.
Peak current is TX and RX during BLE connection.
