nRF51822 ADC (Check Battery Level)

Hello, Everyone.

I'm developing a beacon to check the battery level.

I'm current using

• nRF51822
• SDK11.0.0
• Softedevice S130

My inquiry is nRF52 series is supported SAADC to check battery level without physical connection pin, but nRF51 Series is supported also?

The nRF52 series is internally connected, so there is no need for a physical connection to the analog pin, but I have heard that the nRF51 requires a physical VDD connection to the analog pin.

Is it true?

Our nRF51 module is no longer modifiable (in hardware) can the nRF51 measure the battery level without a physical connection?

Hi,

Yes, this is possible with nRF51 as well. However, the configuration is a bit different than on nRF52. See the lines in this example.
