As (py)nrfjprog nees SEGGER libraries in order to function, you will be better off asking SEGGER support.
Have you tried using OpenOCD?
It should be possible to use jlink commander, you can check out: https://www.segger.com/downloads/jlink/#J-LinkSoftwareAndDocumentationPack
Though I notice in specific for Linux ARM systems: "Note: This package comes without any support."
