Hi everyone!
Has anyone worked with the Thingy:91 and any other eSIM (different than iBasis and 1CES) that has coverage in Berlin - Germany for LTE-M?
Hi everyone!
Has anyone worked with the Thingy:91 and any other eSIM (different than iBasis and 1CES) that has coverage in Berlin - Germany for LTE-M?
Iam in Berlin, tried to get LTE workin within the LTE LINK Monitor but it stays grey or yellow. Using Thingy 91 with the included iBasis. Any ideas what i can try to figure out whats going wrong and how to fix it?
Hi Alejandro,
From the official GSMA Deployment Map in Germany: https://www.gsma.com/iot/deployment-map/#DE
We can see that only one carrier supports LTE-M, however, looking at the iBasis national coverage mapping we can see that in Germany it very limited coverage.
To use LTE-M in Berlin I would recommend reaching out to the carrier that supports that technology and get a SIM from them.
Hi Alejandro,
There is limited coverage in Berlin, since the LTE-M roll out is not yet completed.
You can send us a message and I will direct you to a few antennas that are open, so you can test LTE-M there.
Kind regards,
Iuliana
Hi Luliana,
could you also provide me with a link to antennas that can be used for testing in Berlin?
Kind regards,
Lars
