Unknown Characteristic 0x2AD3 using nRF Connect

I'm working on setting up a Fitness Machine Service on our nRF52832 custom board.

When I add the Training Status characteristic SIG 0x2AD3, I get  Unknown Characteristic when I connect to my device via the nRF connect mobile app 2.21 build 139.

I'm a newbie, so I could be doing something wrong.

I modeled this characteristic add from the code I generated to add the Indoor Bike Data characteristic which is recognized by  nRF Connect.

Any insights would be most appreciated.

Hi!

Are you on Android or iOS?

The Training Status characteristic is not included in the nRF Connect app by default, so you will have to add it yourself for it to be recognized. Let me know which OS  you are on, and I'll instruct you on how to do this.

Hi, it does not look like the iOS version has this feature, unfortunately. If you use the nRF Connect for Desktop version of the app you can add your own UUID definitions, see here.
