Can nRF52DK-nRF52832 read the input voltage from the external soruce??

Hi guys,

I just started to work with Nordic boards and I am currently working with Nordic nRF52-DK. I have already installed all the necessary tools that I need to run and test some examples using RTOS Zephyr. I tested some simple examples and everything works without any problems. For my next experiments, I need to enable the function to read the input voltage from the external source (in my case the environment emulator). Can you maybe help me and give me some examples how can I perform this or maybe give me some advice? I will really appreciate if you can help me in any possible way. The ADC neither knows nor cares whether the input is on the DK, or off the DK - it just measures whatever voltage is present.

The only issue with an "external" voltage is that you must ensure that it doesn't exceed the input specifications. But this is nothing special to Nordic or nRF52 - it would be exactly the same with any pin on any other electronic device.

First, thanks for this quick answer! I saw that the maximum voltage is around 3.47V or something like that. Do you maybe have some example to show me, because I would like to measure and print the voltage values over a time? And also, which pin do you suggest me to use? Thanks in advance!!

No, I have not. I have just installed everything and tried to figure out how to solve this problem because I have some experience already with the same problems, but using the SoDAQ ExpLoReR board. For sure, I will now take some time to study this and try to figure out how to create this example to measure the voltage and perform some tasks. Thanks again for this help and advice!!
