120 degree temperature

From the documentation i have found it seems all the nrf52 and the new nrf5340 are all "extended range" up to 105 degrees celcius.

I am evaluating an application where a nrf52 or nrf53 will be used to monitor temperature and humidity in a tool used by an industrial robot.

The temperatur may rise to 120 degrees, but will be below 105 degrees most of the time.

WIll the chip survive this, maybe if we swithc off the power to it?

The chip will survive this just fine, but of you operate it at this high temperature, you will be out of spec on several parameters, mostly related to the radio.

we can get the external components we need with support for 125 degrees, incl battery. Will it help if we choose e.g. the lowest possible supplyvoltage?  Any plans for high temperature version of nrf52?

The radio will have a hard time operating at these temperatures, even at low voltage.
