Hello,
I am trying to get the nrf sniffer working to test the ble connection between my 9160DK board and thingy52 board. Some custom software running on both board and the BLE connection is work as designed. I want to check the whats happening on the BLE connection interval to tweak the the power profile. I have change the settings but I haven't been able to determine if it is functioning properly in order to reduce power. To test the BLE connection I want to use the nrf sniffer software. So I loaded the V3 hex on my 52DK and ran the sniffer.exe on my windows computer. I havent been able to get the sniffer program to be able to find my 52DK. Ive tried all the programs suggestions but still no luck. Ive un plugged and plugged back in. Erase COM port. tried sniffer v2.hex code.
Here is the output from the sniffer application on my windows PC
Is the sniffer software already running somewhere else?
Try plugging out the hardware. Wait 5 seconds before plugging back in.
See the User Guide for Troubleshooting guide. (press 'u')
Try erasing the COM port preset with 'f'
The 52DK has the main LED on and the LED1 blinking rapidly. LED 2 3 and 4 are all off.
Any thoughts on what I am doing wrong?
