No current consumption benefits running code from RAM

Hi nordic people, I've tried to run the code from the RAM following this guide. After some optimization in the code I get it work without visible problems. According to nRF51822 Product Specification (section 8.4) running code from flash draws about 4.4mA and running it from RAM draws 2.4mA, but measuring current with oscilloscope in the post processing phase I've measured about 4.1mA (execution from flash) and 4mA (execution from RAM). The difference is so small that I can see it only calculating DC average. Did I forgot to modify something? Thanks, Davide.

Of course all leds are off, debug mode is disabled, J-link is disabled (SW4 is off) and the board is powered from and external power supply (3.3volt) via P1 (then debugger chip is not powered since it is powered from USB power).

Hi Davide,

Sorry for the late answer. If you are having a softdevice and your app is making frequent calls to it, then there will be a lot of FLASH access anyways. So the current consumption in those cases will not be much different.
