Roll back the firmware version of J-Link

After updating the J-Link firmware, I found that PAC10100 doesn't work, but I can't reprogram it, so I would like to ask the following questions

Will upgrading j-Link firmware on PCA10100 erase nrF52833 firmware?

How do I roll back the firmware version of J-Link to J-Link OB-SAM3U128-V2-NordicSemi compiled Jan  7 2019?

  • Hi,

No, updating the j-Link firmware should have only updated the firmware in the Segger chip and should not change anything inside nRF52833 chip.

Seems like something got corrupted in your upgrade. Run jlink.exe to start the commander and type 'exec invalidatefw' from the command line inside the Jlink commander then allow it to reflash the device. This allows you to re-flash again next time you use the jlink dll and fix the previous firmware update

  • Hi

I've reflashed j-link, but it stil doesn't work.

Where can I download the previous version of firmware( J-Link OB-SAM3U128-V2-NordicSemi 190107) ?
