High voltage input to GPIO

Hi,

We are using nRF52840 in HV mode and VDD is configured for 1.8v. By mistake, we have connected VDDH to one of the GPIOs as input. What are the implications? How much current would be drawn by the GPIO in this case? Any problems you would see, apart from GPIO wouldn't be detecting logic 1/0 properly?

Max voltage on a GPIO is VDD + 0.3 V. So if VDD is 1.8 V, max voltage is 2.1 V then.  Anything higher will violate the spec and may damage the device.
