High sleep current drawn on my 52832, using HFXO controlled by a 32 MHz external crystal.

When I put the device into sleep it draws app 30 uA in sleep mode. Read in the manual:  "Core standby current= 50 μA", "Current drawn if HFXO is forced on through for instance using the low latency power mode"

1) Does this means that the sleep current is >30uA with external  Xtal connected to XC1 & 2?

2) "low latency power mode": How can I change this mode?

1)No. If you have an external crystal connected or not, the sleep current is according to this table: https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/topic/com.nordic.infocenter.nrf52832.ps.v1.1/pmu.html?cp=4_2_0_16_0_0_2#unique_498092668

2) You can set the chip to low latency power mode (called constant latency in the PS), and it will consume more current because there are some active parts. This is not enabled by default. You have to specifically enable it.

There is also a possibility to start the external crystal manually, and then the run current will be about 250uA. But it's not enabled by default. You have to specifically start it. For instance the Softdevice will automatically start and stop the HFXO and the sleep current in between the radio events will be about 2 uA. Both with and without an external crystal.

I'm not sure why you are seeing 30 uA. If you describe more about your application and measurement setup it would be great.
