Posting this question here as there seems to be no Tech Support available in India.

I am looking for a BTLE solution that can be used in my BT device.

The functions are as below

Device should be able to pair with Android smartphone.

When the smartphone receives any CALL or SMS, it should be indicated by the device using a LED.

The device has a switch. When this switch is pressed the smartphone should Vibrate briefly.

Please let me know how Nordic would be able to support in terms of Eval boards, chips and Android app development.

Nordic has development kits for BTLE, nRF-DK is used for developing on the nRF51822/nRF51422 which is a System on Chip and a single chip solutions. The SDK for the nRF-51 includes applications the help you do what you want.

The nRF8001 DK is used for developing on the nRF8001, the nRF8001 requires an additional external mcu. Examples are available on our gitbhub and devzone for a variety of external mcus for the nRF8001.

David how do we support Android phones with Ver older to 4.3.

@Samir: Most of the Android 4.2 and earlier phone doesn't have the stack to support BLE.

Some Samsung phone (galaxy S3) supports BLE with Samsung's BLE stack, however they should be updated to Android 4.3 already.
