update pca20006 (rev 1.2.0) with MCP over DFU

is it possible to update the pca20006 (rev. 1.2.0 2015.06) beacon with the pca10000 over DFU? When i tried to update it with my application written for an older version (it worked all fine), it does nothing and still continues with the pre-installed (blinky?) example!?

How old is the application version? Your beacon comes with FW 1.1, which has SoftDevice 7.1 preinstalled. If your application uses an older SoftDevice than this, you may need to flash the older SoftDevice as well.

If it continues with the blinky example, an error occurred when uploading (or verifying) and the new application was not written to flash. Are you correctly creating the init-file? developer.nordicsemi.com/.../a00092.html
